Financial donation has been provided for the treatment of 6 patients suffering from critical diseases in Tentulia, Panchagarh. On Thursday afternoon, Panchagarh-1 Constituency Sangsad handed over financial donation check to the patients suffering from 6 complex diseases like kidney, liver cirrhosis, thalassemia, stoke and heart attack and fire victims in the function organized by Upazila Social Service Office and Administration and Disaster Management at Upazila Parishad premises on Thursday afternoon. Tentulia Upazila Chairman Kazi Mahmutur Rahman D.B., Tentulia Upazila Executive Officer Fazle Rabbi, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahbubul Hasan, Female Vice Chairman Sultana Razia, Awami League President Bir Muktijodha Yasin Ali Mondal, Vice President of Krishak League Central Committee were present. Abdul Latif Tareen, project implementation officer Zakir Hossain and social service officer Shah Al Amin, officials of various administration departments, political figures and beneficiaries. The organizers said that 18 people suffering from these 6 complex diseases of kidney, liver cirrhosis, thalassemia, stoke and heart failure were given financial support of 50 thousand taka each for their treatment. 3000 taka and a bundle of cotton were distributed to 20 people affected by the fire from the relief project branch. Apart from this, Zakat money has been paid to three people from Islamic Foundation’s Zakat Fund. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the government for receiving the financial assistance.
