Complaint to police station, complaint of litigant to Ministry of Public Administration to get justice

The incident took place in the headmaster’s room of Shasia High School of Jhlam Union of Barura Upazila of Comilla District on April 13th at around 9:00 PM. According to the complaint of Barura police station, Mizanur Rahman, son of deceased Nurul Islam, son of current member Kauchar Hossain, village: Kanchiapukuria, district: Comilla, son of Sahit Abdul Mannan, village: Shasia, Shola Pukuria. Masud son of village Ayyub Ali, village : Shashiya, Saiful son of Ismail Hossain, village : Sholapukuria, Suman son of Munchur Ali, village : Shashiya, Mehedi Hasan son of Ilyas Hossain, village : Shashiya and Arman Hossain, father : unknown, village : Shasiya, Thana: Barura, District: On 13th April 24th night at approximately 9.00 pm, there was a discussion with Md Kaushar Hossain regarding the dispute related to previous money transactions with Comillas. At one point, all the defendants including defendant No. 01 Mizanur Rahman tried to forcibly restrain and beat up the victim Kaushar. Later, the victim Kauchar ran from the spot to safety for his life. He came to Upazila Health Complex, Barura for treatment. Regarding the incident, the victim Md Kaushar Hossain filed a complaint against Mizanur Rahman and 6 others at Barura police station.

Police investigation officer ASI. When Nuruzzaman was asked about the investigation of the incident, he said that he had initially investigated. He said that he got the preliminary facts about the beating. Further action will be taken in consultation with the officer-in-charge of Barura police station. When Barura police station officer-in-charge Riaz Uddin Rana Chowdhury asked about the latest status of the complaint, he said, “My officer has investigated the incident.” It is known that there is a dispute with both the parties regarding the previous payment. The police cannot judge the amount of money paid. When asked about the truth of the beating, he said that the matter will be resolved socially or advised to go to court.

Meanwhile, the victim Kaushar Hossain member did not get justice at the local police station and sent complaints to the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Public Administration, IGP, Bangladesh Police and other higher departments hoping to get justice.

Aggrieved member Kauchar said, after I complained to Barura police station, I went to the police station several times but got no definite solution and came to know that several complaints were made against me with the intention of defaming me. I expect a fair investigation into this incident. When asked about this from the headmaster of Shasiya High School Mujibur Rahman, he said that he came to know about the incident later. He said that they were able to open the library as the key of the library was with his school committee member.
