Dinajpur district pea transportation workers union among family members of dead workers and sick workers.
Grant money has been disbursed. A total of Tk 16 lakh has been distributed to each of the families of 32 workers from Tk 50 thousand in cash from the own funds of the labor union. Among the 32 people, there are 25 dead workers and 7 sick workers.
Dinajpur District Pea Transport Workers Union President Md Abdul Hakim and General Secretary Md Fazle Rabbi handed over cash to the family members of the deceased worker in a ceremony organized at the own office of Suiharistha District Pea Transport Workers Union in the city on Thursday (April 4-2024). District Pea Transport Workers Union Senior Vice President Md Enamul Haque, Joint General Treasurer Sheikh Badsha, Deputy General Secretary Md Elias Hossain Munna, Finance Secretary Abdus Samad Ali, Roads Secretary Md Alamgir Hossain, Office Secretary Md Rahidul Islam Reju, Samaj Kalyan Secretary Md. Samrat, sports and cultural secretary Md. Liton, members of the executive committee of the labor union, Milan Howladar, Noor Alam Sheikh Akalu, Anwar Hossain and other members and family members of the deceased workers were present.
Dinajpur District Pea Paribahan Sramik Union General Secretary Md. Fazle Rabbi said, “We have given this grant from the subscription money from the workers.” Please pray for us so that we can cooperate more in the future.
