“All the responsibilities are not the responsibility of the state, some responsibilities are mine, some are yours,” the voluntary organization of Sherpur today is giving cow meat and sarees and lungis for 10 taka like every year. Today, April 5, Friday afternoon, their program was inaugurated from Sherpur Government College ground. At that time, the guests were the advisor of the organization, director of Uttara Specialized Hospital, Zubair Biplab, general secretary of the blood donation organization, Jahangir Alam, journalists, Rafiq Majid and Shahidul Islam Hira. According to the organizers, this program will continue until the day before Eid. On the opening day, more than two hundred poor people sold beef and sari-lungi for 10 taka. Everyone feels a little bit of shame when they get something absolutely free. So these helpless and poor people are happy to buy beef and sari-lungi at a symbolic price of just 10 taka. Rabiul Islam Ratan, president of the organization said that this organization of today’s youth is for the lower middle class people who cannot buy sari-lungi with beef due to the high market price. He said that this program will continue until the day before Eid. If there are more rich people and organizations in the society like the youth of today, if they also stand by the side of the poor, then the poverty and helplessness in the society will be reduced to a large extent.
