On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, an iftar mahfil was organized by Orai Apanjan, a social organization in Barura, Comilla.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nu Emong Marma Mong spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting chaired by Md Ilyach Ahmed, president of the organization and general secretary of Barura Press Club, at Goni Mier Hotel on Thursday, March 14. Another mayor of Barura municipality, Md. Bahaduruzzaman, DGM of Palli Vidyut, Md. Jalal Uddin spoke as special guests.

On the occasion, a lawyer was given cash of Tk 40,000 on behalf of the organization to join the Bar Council.
In the afternoon, iftar materials were distributed among hundreds of poor, helpless and disabled people on the initiative of the organization.

Farukul Islam, former GM of BCIC, advisor of the organization, advisor of Orai Apanjan organization and Doctor’s Community Hospital spoke as a special guest. Chairman Engineer Md. Among the iftar items distributed on this day are chickpeas, soybean oil, muri, dal, onion.
