Staff Reporter: The founding anniversary and workshop 2026 of the cultural organization Surlahari was held in a festive atmosphere. The program was attended by the president and vice-president of Surlahari’s Savar and Palli Bidyut branches, Bachchu Shah Uyesh, Dr. Kamruzzaman, Dilkushay Ahmed, Daisy Rahman.
And the director of Surlahari, Ripon Mehboob, who is the music director of Bangladesh Television.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sujit Mostafa, a renowned Nazrul researcher and cultural organizer of Bangladesh. He gave an instructive speech to the participants about the importance of pure practice, performance of Nazrul music and preservation of cultural heritage.
According to the organizers, the objective of this workshop organized on the occasion of the founding anniversary was to further enrich Nazrul practice and cultural activities among the new generation. The program was successfully completed with the sincere participation of the artists, organizers and guests present.
