Rajapur in Pubali Bank’s cashless campaign inaugurated

Kanjan Kanti Chakraborty, Jhalakathi District Correspondent : Keeping in mind the theme “Transactions will be cashless, Bangladesh is moving forward”, a cashless campaign has been inaugurated in Rajapur, Jhalakathi, at the initiative of Pubali Bank PLC Rajapur branch with the participation of local businessmen.

The program was inaugurated on the third floor of Pubali Bank Rajapur branch in the School Market area of ​​the Upazila Sadar at 10:30 am on Thursday (date). During the campaign, customers are being informed about cashless banking services, Bangla QR, mobile apps and modern digital transaction methods.

The program was inaugurated by Rajapur Upazila Secondary Teachers’ Association President Md. Jahidul Islam. He formally inaugurated the program by cutting the ribbon in the presence of local businessmen, invited guests, bank customers and officials.

On this occasion, Pubali Bank Rajapur branch manager and principal officer Md. A discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mehedi Hasan. Prominent businessman Md. Ziaul Hasan Titu, headmaster of Rajapur Model Government Primary School No. 30 Mahmuda Khanam and proprietor of Kanika Mahfuz Specialized Eye Hospital Md. Towhid Rashid were present as special guests.

At the event, the bank head said that the main goal of this campaign is to reduce cash transactions and encourage customers to use safe, fast and modern digital banking services. At the same time, customers are being encouraged to use Bangla QR, debit and credit cards, POS machines and Pubali Bank’s mobile app.

They also said that awareness activities will continue to popularize cashless banking in Rajapur like in other areas of the country.
