Lalmonirhat’s Mahendranagar, the late Panir Uddin Model Madrasah was inaugurated, book distribution and prayer mahfil was held with the promise of building good character with Islamic ideals, ethics, moral education and building an educated nation through good education.
Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Kamruzzaman Sujan, prominent poet, literary and social worker Ferdousi Begum Beauty were present at the event held on Monday (January 1, 2024) at Madrasa premises located in Chinipara area of Mahendranagar Union of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila under the chairmanship of Director of Madrasa Asadul Islam Sabuj.
Acting Chairman of Zilla Parishad Tahmidul Islam Biplab, Pesh Imam and Khatib of Lalmonirhat Central Jame Masjid Maulana Md. Atiqur Rahman, General Secretary of Mahendranagar Union Awami League Dr. Ahsanul Habib, Principal of Adarsh Islamic Model School M. Ershadul Haque, Shivram Adarsh were also present on the occasion. Director of Public School Rashedul Islam Rashed, District Representative Journalist of Daily Business Bangladesh Newspaper Ashraful Haque, Former Railway Officer Hasan Ali, Staff Reporter of New Bangla Sangbad Newspaper Khaja Rashed etc.
At that time, the teachers, students, parents and dignitaries of the institution and local residents were present.
The program was moderated by educationist Rabiul Islam Nijhum.
At the end of the program, a special prayer was held for the success of Panir Uddin Model Madrasa, for the peace of the country and the nation, and for the Muslim Ummah.
Maulana Md. Rashedul Islam conducted the prayer meeting.
