Hatibandha Upazila Parishad elections of Lalmonirhat, the chairman candidate of Anaras Pratik Shahana Ferdousi Seema held a press conference to protest the intimidation of her voters in various ways.
He organized the press conference at his own residence on Monday (May 6) evening.
In the press conference, he said that most of the upazila’s centers including Barkhata, Fakirpara, Saniajan and Goddimari Union centers are dangerous.
He also said that he blamed the Kup Perich marker candidate for obstructing and threatening his voters, supporters and agents from entering the polling station.
Last Friday, he was attacked by the people of Cup Peach Marker. In this, 10 leaders and activists supported by Seema, the only woman candidate of the district in the upazila council elections, were injured, he said. He sought the administration’s intervention to make the election fair.
