Mymensingh-7 Trishal Constituency Former Member of Parliament and District Awami League Member Hafez Maulana Ruhul Amin Madani’s son Hasan Mahmud has accused the newly elected Member of Parliament Alhaj ABM Anishuzzaman Anish of drug dealing and various charges against him on Monday morning. In the pre-arranged meeting at the main camp of the election rally, he said, the young society of Trishal is now going through the worst time in history. Earlier I heard that food in exchange for work means ‘kabikha’, money in exchange for work means ‘kabita’, now we are hearing there that ‘mabira’ means politics in exchange for drugs. Many young people now go to Hasan’s procession in exchange for drugs. In exchange for one phensidyl and two yaba, many young people now open fake IDs on Facebook and the leaders of the parties and opposition spread propaganda. The newly elected MP said that all the drug dealers identified in Trishal were led by Hasan Mahmud, the son of former MP Madani. Everyone in Trishal knows this not only me. Hasan Mahmud is pulling most of the youth of Trishal into personal politics by involving them with drug consumption and drug trade.
Hasan Mahmud has become the owner of crores of rupees through drug trade using the position and title of president of Trishal Upazila Chhatra League. Most of Trishal’s drug addicts and all identified drug dealers live under its umbrella. He also said that most of the people are now hostage to the son of the ex-MP who was in Trishal. Those who don’t take Phencidil four times in the morning and afternoon are not in good health.
