Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth anniversary is celebrated

Today is the 104th birth anniversary of the 17th Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The day is celebrated as National Child Adolescent Day across the country. The architect of independent Bangladesh, the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation, was born on this day in 1920 in a noble Muslim family in Tungipara, Gopalganj district. In celebration of the day, all government, semi-government, autonomous and private institutions and educational institutions and all government and private buildings and national flags of Barura have been hoisted today. On the occasion of Bangabandhu’s birthday and National Children’s Day, Barura Upazila Parishad Chairman ANM Mainul Islam, Barura Upazila Executive Officer Nyu Emong Marma Mong, Barura Municipality Mayor Md Baktar Hossain, Barura Thana Officer In-Charge Md Riaz Uddin paid tribute by laying wreaths at Bangabandhu’s mausoleum in Barura. Chowdhury, Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School, Barura Government Girls High School etc.
