Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School Ground Barura MP and Comilla South District Awami League Vice-President Abu Zafar Mohammad Shafi Uddin (Shamim) funded under social responsibility for employment of unemployed people and poverty alleviation in 6 wards of Barura municipality, auto-rickshaws, sewing machines, Various types of financial assistance have been provided including maternity grants for childbearing mothers, treatment of poor patients, assistance to mosques and temples and honoring of senior and martyred Awami League leaders of the area. On March 2, Saturday afternoon, in the donation ceremony, 1 auto rickshaw was given to 18 unemployed helpless men of Ward No. 1,2,3,4,6,7 of Barura municipality, 1 sewing machine was given to 19 helpless women, 19 sick patients were treated. Assistance, maternity allowance to 19 childbearing women, honors and gifts to 29 martyrs and senior Awami League leaders and financial donations to 17 mosques and 2 temples. It is noted that in the pre-election period, in each ward of Barura’s 15 unions and municipalities, he stood beside them in improving the quality of life of about 600 families by providing rickshaws, sewing machines, maternity allowance, treating sick patients, honoring and giving gifts to senior and sacrifice leaders.
