International Desk: A powerful storm hit central and southern Chile on Saturday, causing flooding and at least two deaths, authorities said.
Several areas have been ordered to evacuate due to the adverse weather conditions. Warnings have also been issued. A similar storm caused widespread damage in the South American country a few weeks ago.

Two people were killed when a tree fell on a car in the southern Los Rios region, Deputy Interior Minister Maximo Pavez said.
About 350 people were injured or suffered property damage, according to the National Disaster Prevention and Response Service. In addition, more than 2,000 people were stranded in various places due to overflowing rivers.
The disaster agency has issued evacuation warnings for 13 areas due to the risk of flooding and winds of more than 100 kilometers per hour.
Warnings have also been issued for several municipalities in the Maule and Los Lagos regions.
