Staff Reporter: A preparatory meeting has been held to recognize the unforgettable contribution of private university students in the July Uprising, commemorate all the martyrs and make the event titled ‘Thoughts of Building a Future Bangladesh’ a success.
The preparatory meeting was held at the Youth Club ground in the capital’s Gulshan-2 area on Saturday (August 1).
State Minister for the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and Member of Parliament Ishraq Hossain was present as the chief guest at the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the convener of the Program Coordination and Implementation Committee, Md. Abu Horaira.
The overall preparation, work plan and various aspects of the successful implementation of the commemoration meeting to be held on August 15 were discussed at the meeting.
A program titled ‘Recognizing the unforgettable contribution of private university students in the July Uprising, commemorating all the martyrs and thoughts of building a future Bangladesh’ will be held at the Youth Club ground in the capital’s Gulshan-2 on August 15.
