Mashahid Ahmed, Moulvibazar: An allegation has been made of an attack and beating at a person’s house in Rangdash area of ​​Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila over a case filed in court. A person named Chhayad Mia has filed a written complaint at Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station in this incident.
In the complaint, Qayyum Mia (36), Wahid Mia (33), Pabel Mia (25), Rahel Mia (23), Abul Mia (21), Durud Mia (60), Kausar Mia (27) and 8 to 10 other unidentified people from the same area have been accused.
Following the complaint, the police have visited the scene.
In the written complaint, Chhayad Mia mentioned that a case is ongoing against the accused in the Executive Magistrate Court of Moulvibazar. The case number is 107/114/117 (C) and the case was filed on August 1, 2026.
He alleged that after receiving the notice of the case, the accused got angry and a group of people went to his house on the afternoon of August 1 and abused and beat him. He was injured in this. Later, he sought treatment at Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.
The complainant demanded that necessary legal action be taken against those involved in the incident, subject to investigation.
However, no statement was received from the accused regarding the complaint. Police said that further legal action will be taken after investigating the matter.
