A victory rally was held in Barura, Comilla on the occasion of the historic Barura Freedom Day on December 7. On Thursday, December 7 at 11 am organized by the upazila administration under the chairmanship of the upazila executive officer Nu-Emong Marma Mong, the victory rally left the upazila parishad square and ended at Barura Bazar padakshin upazila square.
Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Saiful Islam, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Shahin Hossain, Hero Freedom Fighter Abdul Mannan, Hero Freedom Fighter Md. Abdus Sattar, Upazila Education Officer Tariqul Islam, Principal of Jhlam High School and College Emdadul Haque Palash, Upazila Statistics Officer Md. Riaz Uddin, President of Barura Upazila Press Club and correspondent journalist of Daily Jayzaidin newspaper Mohammad Masud Majumdar, Publicity Editor and Daily Samajkanth Staff Reporter Journalist Md Sharif Uddin, Dewan of Mukti Jodha Sangsad Issin Command Council Sharfuddin Tuku, Nazmul Huda Iqbal, officials of various administration departments and Civil society leaders were present. Meanwhile, the victory rally ended by reciting Fateha at the Upazila Bangabandhu Mural after circling the various roads of the city.
