Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed visited AD artillery gun firing in Cox’s Bazar. Yesterday, Monday (March 11), for the first time on the soil of Bangladesh, the firing of 35 mm twin-barrel anti-aircraft gun system CS/AA3 was done. During the inspection, the army chief said that the Forces Goal-2030 made under the direction of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to realize the unfinished dream of the father of the nation. In light of this, the expansion and modernization of the Bangladesh Army is a timely step. Following this, for the first time, the firing of the 35 mm twin barrel anti-aircraft gun system with a range of 12 km was held. Which is a memorable event in the history of Bangladesh Army. This gun system is capable of hitting ground and air targets accurately at a distance of 4 km. Meanwhile, Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh Army, Adjutant General of Army, Military Secretary of Army, Chief Consultant General, Ad Hoc Construction Supervision Consultant, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 10 Infantry Division And Area Commander Cox’s Bazar Area along with Army Headquarters and senior military officers of Cox’s Bazar Area, other officers, JCOs and other ranks of army personnel and media persons were present.
