The head teacher of North Chandanpat Government Primary School of Chandanpat Union of Rangpur Sadar Upazila, the president of the governing body of another institution and two assistant teachers have been accused of working with fake certificates. On Monday (May 22, 2023) at around 12 noon, it is known that since 1991, the head teacher of North Chandanpat Government Primary School Abu Bakkar Siddique has been performing his duties. We go and see that the school is open but the headmaster is not in the school. The head teacher takes classes at the school three days a week. Do not come to school for the remaining two days. Despite being a government head teacher, Abu Bakr Siddique has been running the institution named Salehia Hafizia Noorani Madrasa and Lillah Boarding privately since 1994 in his own area without paying attention to the government rules and regulations. He is the president of the governing body in that institution. In addition to this, Chandanpat has been performing the duties of the Kazi of the Union for a long time. The head teacher of that school, Abu Bakr Siddique himself, is running the institution according to his own whim without following the government rules. Meanwhile, the senior assistant teachers of the school, Abdur Rashid and Lutfar Rahman, have been illegally evading the government for a long time with the help of the headmaster and enjoying all the benefits including government salaries and allowances. Meanwhile, assistant teacher Lutfar Rahman said that he took responsibility as a teacher in North Chandanpat Government Primary School since 1994. He started teaching with certificate next to SSC. The school was incorporated in 2013. He passed the HSC examination in 2005 from Open University to upgrade from teacher to assistant teacher. He failed the HSC exam. Humayan Kabir of Open University gives money to Lebu to pass. Humayan gave him the HSC examination certificate after taking the money saying that he would pass the examination. When Lutfar Rahman was asked about the co-teacher Abdur Rashid, he said that we gave the HSC exam in 2005 from the open university at the same time. Fail together again. We both pay to pass Humayun Kabir Lebu for the side. Lebu gave us the HSC pass certificate. Assistant teacher Abdur Rashid was called several times on his cell phone but he could not be reached on the phone. Abu Bakkar Siddique, headmaster of North Chandanpat Government Primary School, was called on the phone to talk about this issue, he answered and said, “I can’t go to school now.” I am in the madrasa, you come here, do you need a speech, I am giving. Later, when we media personnel went to the madrasa, we found that he locked the madrasa and left. After repeated calls on the mobile phone did not receive. To find out about this, District Primary Education Officer AM Shahjahan Siddique said, Head teacher Abu Bakkar Siddique and assistant teachers Abdur Rashid and Lutfar Rahman have received complaints. None of our teachers can be a member or president of the managing committee and governor body of any other institution. I have already learned that Abu Bakr Siddique is the president of the management board of a madrasa. It is an offense under his misconduct. We will definitely investigate it and take legal action against him. And assistant teachers Abdur Rashid and Lutfar Rahman will take quick action if the truth is found after verifying their certificates.
