Rajiv De: The International Denim Expo 2026 is being held in a grand manner at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) adjacent to Kuril Bishwa Road in the capital. At this gathering of buyers and manufacturers of domestic and foreign ready-made garments, Bangladesh’s leading ready-made garment manufacturer ‘Stylish Garments Limited’ has attracted attention by displaying modern and diverse products of the garment industry.
In this year’s exhibition, in addition to traditional denim products, the company has given special emphasis on outerwear and swimwear considering the demand of the international market. Mohammad Mejbuddin, Head of Marketing and Merchandising of Stylish Garments Limited, spoke at the fair premises about the competition in the international market and the future plans of the company.
He said that Bangladesh’s garment sector is undergoing strategic changes to survive in the global market with strong competitors like China and Vietnam. This expo is playing a very effective role in understanding the price level of buyers in the current market and the dynamics of future orders.
​Regarding the addition of new products, Mohammad Mejbuddin said, “Many are now producing ordinary denim garments. However, there are still relatively few competitors or manufacturers of outerwear or jacket products in Bangladesh. Therefore, we have specially determined outerwear jackets and swimming wear as our main focus. Currently, we are working with buyers from China and various countries of the world on various outerwear product lines of international quality, including padded jackets, fleece jackets and softshells.”

He further expressed optimism that if the outerwear sector in Bangladesh can be developed properly, global buyers will be interested in diverting their purchase orders from China to Bangladesh. As a result, Bangladesh will take a step forward in the competition with China in the ready-made garment industry and the business scope of Stylish Garments Limited will be further strengthened in the coming days.
​It is worth noting that domestic and foreign buyers who visited the Stylish Garments Limited stall at the Denim Expo are expressing deep satisfaction with the company’s production capacity and timely modern clothing collection.
