Relief After Suffering: MP Nurul Amin Inaugurates Long-Awaited Road Renovation in Mirsarai

The long-standing suffering of thousands of residents in the Durgapur and Katachhara unions of Mirsarai upazila is finally coming to an end. The renovation and overall development work on the road stretching from the Durgapur Union Parishad office via Durgapur to the Katachhara Union Parishad office has been officially inaugurated.
​On Saturday (June 6), the local Member of Parliament (MP), Nurul Amin, unveiled the foundation stone of the development project during a grand ceremony.
​Speaking at the inauguration, MP Nurul Amin said, “The modernization of communication systems and the development of rural infrastructure are among our top priorities. The renovation of this road will make commuting much easier for the people of both unions and will boost the local economy. The relevant authorities have been strictly instructed to ensure sustainable and quality work.”
​Local residents expressed that the road had been in a dilapidated condition for a long time due to a lack of maintenance. With the renovation work finally underway, a wave of relief and joy has spread across the two unions.
