On the occasion of World Milk Day, free milk was distributed to common people in Rangpur. Rangpur Dairy Farms Association distributed this milk to more than five hundred people. District and Divisional President of Rangpur Dairy Farms Association Engineer Latifur Rahman Milon inaugurated the milk distribution program at Rangpur Press Club premises on Thursday (June 1) at noon.
In the opening ceremony, engineer Latifur Rahman Milan said that milk is one of the nutritious foods. As we work to meet the nutritional needs of the country, we farmers also work to reduce the unemployment of the country. If the farmers get good patronage from the government, the farmers will be more successful, the educated youth of this generation will be more motivated to farm, the nutritional needs will be met and unemployment will be reduced. He requested those involved in the development of animal resources to work sincerely for the development of farmers.
District Joint General Secretary of Rangpur Dairy Farms Association Raju Ahrimed, District and Divisional Finance Secretary Bitu, District and Divisional Women Affairs Secretary Roksana Parveen, District Religion Secretary Dilip Chandra Ghosh, Entertainment Secretary Sujan, Social Welfare Secretary Mansoor Ali, Ward No. 13 were present. President Noor Alam Manu, 10th Ward President Golam Sarwar Mirza and others.
Meanwhile, General Secretary of Rangpur Dairy Farms Association SM Asiful Islam has been elected Ayana Dairy Farm Icon Farmer Rangpur 2022 in Dhaka on World Dairy Day.
