Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka to attend the ‘Third Qatar Economic Forum’ to be held in Doha, Qatar. He left for Qatar from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday (May 22) at 3:30 pm. The delegation of Bangladesh led by the Prime Minister will participate in the forum at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. With the support of Bloomberg, experts in technology, finance and business sectors including heads of state and government, ministers, eminent economists from various countries will participate in the forum titled ‘A New Global Growth Story’ in Doha, Qatar from May 23 to 25. During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to have an official meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Earlier, the Prime Minister went to Qatar to attend the LDC-5 summit in March. Through the Economic Forum, efforts are underway to find solutions to adverse economic reactions by enhancing mutual cooperation among the international community.
