Prime Minister inaugurates teacher training program

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the training program for teachers on career-oriented and technical education. He inaugurated the program at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center at 11:25 am today with the theme ‘Take career-oriented education, work around the world’.

The program was inaugurated at the initiative of the National University to develop 12,000 college teachers from all over the country as skilled.

At the time, the Prime Minister was presented with a commemorative plaque and a sapling by National University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah. Other teachers were with her at the time.

At the beginning of the program, a documentary was broadcast highlighting various aspects of the work and life of martyr President Ziaur Rahman, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

At this time, the background music started playing, “My first Bangladesh is my last Bangladesh, my life Bangladesh is my death Bangladesh.”

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, Prime Minister’s Advisor on Education and Primary and Mass Education Mahdi Amin, and National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah spoke at the event.

In the new curriculum, students will receive training in freelancing, entrepreneurship development, digital marketing, cyber security, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science. 900 master trainers have already been created to ensure teaching in these subjects. 12,000 teachers will be trained through them in phases.
