In a drive by the District Health Department in Manikganj, two hospitals and one diagnostic center have been shut down due to irregularities. At the same time, one hospital has been warned about a bond.

The drive, led by District Civil Surgeon Dr. Ivy Ferdous, inspected various private hospitals and diagnostic centers on Wednesday afternoon. During this time, evidence of non-renewal of licenses in some institutions, absence of doctors on duty, lack of labor rooms and various irregularities in the pathology department was found.

Based on these irregularities, the Health Department has shut down the activities of Al Rafi General Hospital, Jamuna General Hospital and Modern Diagnostic Center. In addition, Manikganj Children’s and General Hospitals have been warned about a bond.
