A procession and discussion meeting were held in Panchagarh on the occasion of National Girl Child Day under the initiative of Tetulia Upazila Administration and Women’s Affairs Department. The theme of the day was ‘I build dreams for girls, fight bravely, work for the country.’
Today, Wednesday (October 8), a procession started from in front of the Upazila Parishad office at 11 am and circled the main road and ended in front of the Upazila Parishad. Later, a discussion meeting was held in the hall. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) MA Akash, Assistant Upazila Education Officer Simanto Kumar Basak presented a speech on the topic of National Girl Child Day. Tetulia Upazila Health Complex PMO Officer Dr. Syed Mahmudur Rahman, Social Service Officer Abu Taher, Tetulia Model Police Station (OC) Investigation Nazir Hossain, Youth Development Officer Abu Zafar Howlader, Tetulia Upazila Branch NCP Chief Coordinator Habibur Rahman, Journalist MA Based, Women’s Affairs Trainer Shahjahan Ali, and students of educational institutions were present.
