​Under the slogan “Nodi Nala Khal Bil, Machh Thakuk Onabil” (Let rivers, canals, and wetlands stay pure with abundant fish), the voluntary organization ‘Adarsha Bandhu Forum’ brought a new surge of life to the familiar Feni River and Muhuri Project. The organization hosted a special event on Monday (July 20), releasing fish fry of various species into the river waters in a festive atmosphere.
​Chaired by the organization’s President, Deen Mohammad, and dynamically moderated by General Secretary Nurul Huda Bhuiyan Morshed, the event turned out to be a grand success. Mr. Fakhrul Islam Khan, President of the Bangladesh Expatriate Welfare Association (UAE) and a prominent Commercially Important Person (CIP), attended as the chief guest.
​In his speech, the chief guest remarked, “Adarsha Bandhu Forum’s initiative to protect the environment and biodiversity is truly commendable. Our rivers are our resources, and the way youth have stepped forward to protect them is exemplary.” He also pledged his full support to the organization’s future humanitarian and eco-friendly endeavors.
​Leaders from various local political, social, cultural, and professional organizations attended the event to express solidarity alongside the forum’s members. By releasing the fish fry, ‘Adarsha Bandhu Forum’ not only breathed new life into the river but also reaffirmed its commitment to nature.
