A colorful painting competition was held with the participation of more than four hundred students of Shivram Adarsh Public School in Lalmonirhat with the aim of developing the creativity, imagination and sense of art of the children. Organized by the internationally renowned educational materials manufacturer Faber-Castell, the spontaneous participation of the students in this competition turned the school premises festive.
On Tuesday (June 30), certificates, awards and letters of honor were handed over to the best 16 students selected in different groups in the office room of Shivram Adarsh Public School by Faber-Castell. Earlier, this competition was organized on the school premises on Thursday afternoon.
More than four hundred students from the primary and lower secondary branches of the school participated in the competition. The students expressed their imagination, feelings and creative thoughts on paper through paints and brushes. A lively and joyful atmosphere was created throughout the school premises.
The event was attended by the school president Aminur Islam, founder and director Rashedul Islam Rashed, Faber-Castell PPE Umme Asma Khatun Kona, teachers, guardians and other school officials.
The speakers at the event said that along with textbook education, co-curricular activities play an important role in the mental development of students. Creative activities like painting increase the confidence of children and create opportunities for them to develop their latent talents.
The founder and director of the school Rashedul Islam Rashed said that such activities will continue regularly to develop the talent and creativity of students. He also said that various cultural and educational competitions will be organized on a larger scale in the future.
The excitement of the winning students and the satisfaction of the guardians at the end of the event made the entire event more lively. The organizers expressed the hope that such initiatives will play an important role in the creative development of children and will be helpful in shaping their beautiful future.
