Under the initiative of BRAC Microfinance Program, power tiller machines have been distributed among marginal farmers under Bhaberchar Branch, Bhaberchar Area, Sonargaon Area, Division Central-3 on June 30, 2026.*
The event was attended by Sheikh Muhammad Mozam, Honorable Senior Divisional Manager of Central-3 Division, Md. Kamrul Hasan, Senior Regional Manager of Sonargaon Region, Area Manager Md. Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Gazaria, Branch Manager Md. Nazmul Hasan and other officers of the branch. At the distribution event, training was provided on the use of this modern agricultural machinery with the aim of making the poor and small farmers of the area self-reliant. This program of BRAC will play an important role in increasing productivity by spreading technology in rural agriculture and alleviating the suffering of agricultural workers. The farmers are extremely happy to receive this assistance and express their gratitude to BRAC. It is worth noting that the supply of such modern machinery will be a milestone in the development of sustainable agriculture, given the challenges created in the agricultural sector due to the impact of climate change.
