In recognition of their meritorious contribution in the recovery of illegal weapons and narcotics at the award distribution ceremony organized on the occasion of Police Week-2026, a commemorative plaque was presented to Kushtia District Police in recognition of their meritorious contribution in the recovery of illegal weapons and narcotics. This is a significant recognition of the professionalism, dedication and effective law and order maintenance activities of Kushtia District Police.
At the ceremony, the Honorable Superintendent of Police of Kushtia District, Mr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin, PPM (Bar), formally accepted the award from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Bangladesh Md. Ali Hossain Fakir.
Senior officers of Bangladesh Police, DIGs of various ranges, Police Commissioners of Metropolitan Police, heads of various units, high-ranking government officials and invited guests were present at this colorful ceremony organized at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital Dhaka.
Kushtia District Police has always been performing its duties with professionalism and responsibility in maintaining law and order, suppressing crime and ensuring public safety. This achievement will inspire us to provide more effective and people-oriented police services in the future.
