The election of the Executive Committee of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) Dinajpur District Branch for the term of 2026-2028 has been completed. As there is one candidate for each post, all the candidates have been declared elected unopposed.
Chief Election Commissioner of the Dinajpur GENIC Election 2026-2028 Steering Committee, Engineer Md. Nurul Huda, officially announced the results.
Md. Minarul Islam Khan has been elected as the President of the newly formed committee and Manjur Murshed Suman has been elected as the General Secretary.
In addition, Md. Masud Rana and Md. Sajiul Islam have been elected as the Vice-Presidents. Md. Habibur Rahman has been elected as the Joint Secretary and GN Bhattacharya has been elected as the Finance Secretary.
Those elected to other positions in the committee are: Organizing Secretary Md. Aminul Hasan, Employment Affairs Secretary Md. Momin, Library and Office Secretary Md. Farhad Ali, Public Relations and Publicity Secretary Md. Humayun Kabir, Literature-Culture and Publication Secretary Md. Layek Ali, Social Welfare Secretary Md. Golam Rabbani, Science and Technology Affairs Secretary Md. Nazmur Hasan Lemon, Research and ICT Secretary Md. Rafiqul Islam, Women and Family Affairs Secretary Arjuman Laila, Education and Training Secretary Niroza Shapla and Student Affairs Secretary Md. Taimur Hossain.
Md. Afsar, Md. Mostakim Akand, Md. Jahangir Alam and Md. Mobamber Rashed have been elected as executive members.
In addition, Md. Matiur Rahman, AIM Mizanur Rahman, Lutful Huda Chowdhury, Md. Nazrul Islam, Dewan Md. Rezaul Karim, Md. Zafar Sadek, Siddiqur Jjaman and Md. Abul Kalam Azad were elected as councilors.
Engineer Md. Mozaffar Hossain and Engineer Rabindra Nath Roy served as election commissioners in the election.
The newly elected leaders expressed their determination to work together to make the organization’s activities more dynamic and professional-based.
