He visited the dangerous 50-bed government hospital of Galachipa upazila of Patuakhali on February 7 at around two o’clock.
Meanwhile, Patuakhali District Civil Surgeon Dr. SM Kabir Hasan, Upazila Parishad Chairman Mu. Shahin Shah, Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Mohiuddin Al-Helal, (Department of Engineering Health) Md Altaf Hossain, Upazila Health and USP Dr. Md Mejbah Uddin and Medical Officer (Consultant) Md Al-Amin.
Meanwhile, they visited different rooms of the hospital. Later, the building was closed as the women’s ward was dangerous. In addition, he advised various doctors and nurses to improve the quality of the hospital’s health services. Besides, Galachipa Press Club president Khalid Hossain Milton and journalist Zillur Rahman Jewel were present.
Regarding the inspection, the Civil Surgeon told the media that the Health Department is taking a serious look at the 50-bed Galachipa Hospital as most of them are dangerous under the guidance of the higher authorities. The children and women’s ward has already been closed. Apart from this, continuous development is going on under the guidance of the government in the quality development of the hospital, we hope that the 50-bed hospital of Galachipa Upazila will also be built with standard building and environment.
