In order to improve the nutritional level of the country’s people and improve public health, with the members of the Galachipa Upazila Nutrition Coordination Committee, at 10 am in the Hall of the Galachipa Upazila Health Complex under the chairmanship of the President of the Nutrition Coordination Committee and Upazila Executive Officer Md. Mohiuddin Al Helal, the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer and the member secretary of the committee. An important meeting was held under the direction of Dr. Mejbah Uddin to increase public awareness on various action plans and actions regarding balanced food nutrition of women, children, pregnant mothers.

The president of the meeting and the upazila executive officer said that if all the conscious people and public representatives of the society can make people aware about nutrition in various meeting places and educational institutions, then there will be progress in malnutrition and the responsibility of the committee in coordinating nutrition will be successful.
Before the meeting, Upazila Health Department 53rd Foundation Anniversary of National Health and Welfare Day discussion rally and planting of saplings were held. Medicine Consultant Dr. Md. Al Amin, Golkhali UP Chairman Nasir Uddin, Press Club President Md. Khalid Hossain Milton, Senior Journalist Shankarlal Das, Journalist Sumit Kumar Dutt Malay, and CARE Representative District Nutrition Manager Rina Helena Gomez spoke on both the occasions.
