DSCC Executive Engineer’s suspension order withdrawn following government rules and procedures

Golam Kibria, Executive Engineer (Current Responsibilities) of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Executive Engineer of Zone-7 and Executive Engineer of Market Construction Cell (Additional Responsibilities), has been reinstated in his position as per government rules and regulations.
A temporary suspension order was issued against him on June 1, 2026, in view of various allegations. Later, after scrutiny of the relevant issues and following government procedures, his temporary suspension order was withdrawn on the instructions of the Local Government Department.
In an official letter issued on July 23, 2026, the City Corporation-1 branch of the Local Government Division of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives ordered Golam Kibria to be reinstated in his post by withdrawing the temporary suspension order.
The government directive states that his temporary suspension order should be withdrawn and he should be reinstated in his post. Along with this, it has also been ordered to take necessary measures to provide him with the financial benefits due during the temporary suspension period.
Earlier, Golam Kibria was temporarily suspended by an office order of the DSCC on June 1. However, later, after the verification and administrative process of the concerned authorities, the temporary measures taken against him were withdrawn as per the government rules.
As a result, Golam Kibria has been fully reinstated in his duties as per the government decision. This makes it clear that when an allegation is made against an official, it is not considered a final crime; rather, further action is taken based on the government rules, administrative process and the decision of the concerned authorities.
With the reinstatement of Golam Kibria in his post, the temporary suspension order issued against him has been effectively withdrawn and he has been given the opportunity to resume his previous duties.
Based on official documents, it can be said that his temporary suspension order was withdrawn and he was reinstated in his post in accordance with the verification and selection of the relevant authorities and government rules.
