Mohammad Sohel, Cox’s Bazar: With the aim of enhancing the subject-based skills of teachers, providing ideas about modern and effective teaching methods and improving the quality of education, a subject-based teacher training program has been inaugurated by the initiative of Bangladesh Kindergarten Association, Cox’s Bazar District Branch and in collaboration with Primary Teacher Training Institute (PTI), Cox’s Bazar.
The training program was inaugurated at Holy Child School in Cox’s Bazar city on Saturday (July 25, 2026) at 9 am.
Preeti Devi, Superintendent, Primary Teacher Training Institute (PTI), Cox’s Bazar, was present as the chief guest in the training program.
Bangladesh Kindergarten Association, Cox’s Bazar District Branch President Mohammad Shahjahan, General Secretary Jahedul Alam, Treasurer Hafez Md. were also present at the program. Tarek,
Tshalima Akhter, Headmaster of Daffodil Kindergarten, Khurushkul, Cox’s Bazar and Rohena Akhter, Headmaster of Islami Bank Model School, Ramu, Cox’s Bazar.
The training on Bengali subjects was provided by Md. Mazharul Islam, Instructor of Primary Teacher Training Institute (PTI), Cox’s Bazar. He discussed in detail the issues of teacher skill development, student-centered teaching, creative teaching methods and classroom management.
The organizers said that such subject-based training will be organized continuously in the future to improve the professional skills of teachers of various educational institutions in the district and ensure quality education.
