EPZ Police Station Officer-in-Charge Muhammad Atiqur Rahman, BPM led by SI Shahadat Hossain, SI Mohammad Shahin Mia, SI Mamunur Rashid, SI Sumon De, SI Kamruzzaman, ASI Kajal Kanti and other officers arrested drug dealer Mohammad Nizam Prakash Nejam (32) on 5/05/2026 based on secret information inside the tin shed room on the 4th floor of Sagar Villa in Madraji Shah Para, Abul Khair Goli under EPZ Police Station of the city. A total of 2,200 pieces of Yaba tablets, 5 kg of marijuana, 70,720/- (seventy thousand seven hundred and twenty) Taka in cash for drug sales and a motorcycle used for drug sales were seized from his custody.
Initially, it was learned that the arrested accused Mohammad Nizam Prakash Nejam (32) is a professional drug dealer. Local sources have informed that he regularly sells drugs to local customers in the Bandartila area.
In addition, there are multiple cases against him under the Arms and Narcotics Act at the Bandar and EPZ police stations of the CMP. A regular case has been registered in the matter and the arrested accused has been handed over to the learned court as per the rules.
