A cleanliness drive has been held in Comilla Barura as per the instructions of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
Today, March 14 at 11 am, at the initiative of Barura Upazila BNP, under the supervision of Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher Suman (MP), a cleanliness drive was conducted at Barura Upazila Health Complex as part of the cleanliness program announced by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman every Saturday.
The program was attended by Upazila BNP Vice President Syed Rezaul Haque Reju, General Secretary Syed Zahirul Haque Swapan, Municipality BNP President Bir Muktijoddha Shamsul Haque Sardar, General Secretary Mofizul Islam, Organizing Secretary Mustafa Zaman Hanif, Barura Upazila Chhatra Dal General Secretary Liton Pandit, Office Secretary Kazi Md. Ala Uddin, and leaders of Upazila and Municipality BNP and affiliated organizations.
At this time, Barura Upazila BNP General Secretary Syed Zahirul Haque Swapan said that as per the announcement of Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, this program is being implemented by the initiative of Barura Upazila BNP on the instructions of Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher Suman. We will conduct cleanliness drives in the markets, streets, schools, colleges, madrasas, and canals of Barura Upazila Sadar in phases.
