Jatiya Party Chairman and Member of Parliament for Lalmonirhat 3 Constituency Golam Mohammad Quader said that Lalmonirhat Airport and Moghalhat Land Port will be opened soon. Erosion of Teesta and Dharlar rivers has been prevented.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the inauguration of the four-storied academic building of Kalmati Bimukhi High School and the academic building of Dhaknai Technical and Business Management College in Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila on Saturday (March 4) noon.
He also said that there is a university in the district. Here, all roads-pools, culverts have been renovated, bridges over Ratnai river have been constructed.
The chief guest of the program, Jatiya Party Chairman and Member of Parliament for Lalmonirhat 3 Constituency Golam Mohammad Quader MP, arrived at Dhaknai Technical and Business Management College and the teachers greeted the chief guest with flowers.
Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jannat Ara Ferdausi presided over the opening ceremony, Arifuzzaman, Executive Engineer of Directorate of Education and Engineering, Hafizul Islam Bitu, Principal of Dhaknai Technical and Business Management College were special guests.
Earlier, Jatiya Party Chairman and Member of Parliament for Lalmonirhat 3 Constituency Golam Mohammad Quader MP inaugurated the paving work of various roads in Harati Union and Mahendranagar area of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila on Saturday morning.
