Moulvibazar District BNP General Secretary VP Mizanur Rahman Mizan along with 14 persons have been sent to the district jail without granting bail. Today on April 25, the District and Sessions Judge appeared in the 1st Court and applied for the bail of 14 persons. It is reported that on November 5, 2023 (Case No. 5, 15(3)/25D Section 1974), a police assault case was filed against more than half a hundred leaders and activists of various organizations of the district BNP in a case before the national elections. In the said case, on February 28, 2024, when he applied for bail in Moulvibazar District and Sessions Judge 1st Court, he was denied bail and sent to jail.
