The police recovered the hanging body of a Jubo League worker named Mokhsud Alam Biplab (36) from his house in Sonagazi. His body was recovered hanging from the bed frame of his living room at Chuni Majhi house of West Sujapur village of Sonagazi Sadar Union on Wednesday around 2 pm.
According to the police, the family of the deceased and the local people, the local people found the dead body hanging with a veil in the bedroom of Nurul Haque Khoka Mia’s son, local Jubo League activist Mokhsud Alam Biblab’s living room. At that time, his wife and children were at his father-in-law’s house. He is the father of three children. His mother Anwara Begum is staying in a hospital in Dhaka with her sick sister. None of his family members were at home at the time of the incident. After receiving information from the neighbors, the police recovered the hanging body of Biplab and sent it to Feni General Hospital for post-mortem.
Biplab’s uncle Abul Hashem, who was killed in the incident, filed a wrongful death case at Sonagazi Model Police Station as the plaintiff.
