A child aged about two years was found in the shrine of Shah Syed Ahmed Gechu Daraj (Rah.) of Akhaura in Brahmanbaria. The child has been crying for the past two days as they talk about the parents. He cannot be kept even with consolation.
Working in Akhaura Upazila Prassan. Amjad Hossain said that the child was found on Monday afternoon. The baby girl is approximately two years old. The child has been kept with the women in charge of the shrine. The matter has also been informed to the police. Arrangements are also being made for them to buy food. But the child is crying a lot for his parents.
Rafiqul Islam Khadem Mintu, general secretary of the shrine committee said, ‘Someone leaves the child or the child is lost where the women pray. The women in charge there are taking care of the child. But the baby is crying a lot. He’s just calling mom.’
