Dari Kanthal Dakhil Madrasah was established in 1986 to spread the light of Islamic education in the area. The current number of teachers in this institution is 13 and about 250 students. The madrasa, which has been plagued with various problems since its inception, still has teachers-students in notebooks, but in reality, no teachers-students were found except for 2 teachers in the madrasa. According to sources, Madrasah Superintendent Nurul Amin’s arbitrariness, abuse of power, recruitment trade, corruption, selling Madrasah land, selling old tinned houses and embezzling money have created an extremely chaotic situation in the institution. Due to which the Madrasah has no development, not enough students. Other teachers complain that the absence of superintendent and other assistant teachers has reduced the interest of students. Recently, there have been allegations of stealing about 40 lakh rupees from the candidates by changing the venue of the madrasah recruitment for the posts of an assistant superintendent, a security guard, and a nanny. The people of the area have become more angry in this incident. They formed a human chain in front of the madrasa on Monday morning, March 18, demanding legal action against the Superintendent including stopping this irregular and corrupt appointment. At this time, local dignitaries and parents were present. demanded. Abul Hossain Fakir, nephew of madrasa founder Abdur Rahman and 5-time former president of the managing committee, grandson Shafiqul Islam, Abdus Salam Azir Ali, Mujibur Rahman Fakir, Ziaul Haque and others spoke at the human chain. Superintendent Nurul Amin complained against the human chain and said that he does not come to the madrasa, due to his non-attendance the education environment of the madrasa has collapsed. There are no regular classes, the old 4 tinned houses of the madrasa and the land of the madrasa have been sold and the money has been stolen. 40 lakh rupees have been stolen by secretly hiring 3 posts. It is also alleged that he has embezzled money from the madrasa fund. Regarding the various corruptions of Super, the founder and former president of the institution, together with the dignitaries of the area, unitedly filed complaints with Trishal Upazila Executive Officer and Secondary Education Officer. On meeting Super Nurul Amin and trying to get his statement, Assistant Maulvi Abdul Quader Siddique, Assistant Teacher Saiful Islam and two Assistant Teachers and Clerk Saiful Islam were found in the madrasa. Besides, no other teachers and students of the madrasa were found. Zainal Abedin, the teacher’s representative, was in the madrasa but fled on sensing the presence of journalists. After talking to assistant Maulvi Abdul Quader Siddique, assistant teacher Saiful Islam, it was learned that the madrasa super and other teachers are irregular and they are struggling to get the students to take their classes properly while they are performing the duties of 13 people.
