Daudkandi Model Police Station Police arrested 02 accused with 4620 pieces of Yaba tablets and 7.5 (seven point five) kg of marijuana, 03 accused in a robbery case, 01 accused with CR arrest warrant, 01 accused with GR arrest warrant, totaling 07 accused.
Under the direction of Officer-in-Charge Mr. Mohammad Sajedul Islam, SI (Retd)/Minhajul Islam along with other officers and forces, while on special operation duty in the Gouripur area, on 29 July 2026 at 22.30 hrs, accused 1 was arrested from the paved road of Gouripur Dhaka-bound Road in front of Gouripur Upazila Health Complex of Gouripur UP under Daudkandi Model Police Station along with 3680 pieces of Yaba tablets and 7.5 kg of marijuana. Mother: Latifa Begum, resident: village- Aranyapur, post office Bibir Bazar, Thana- Comilla Kotwali, District- Comilla,
2. Taslima (25), father: deceased Shah Alam, mother: deceased Suryabagh, resident: (Aranyapur, post office Bibir Bazar), Thana- Comilla Kotwali, District- Comilla were arrested.
SI (Retd)/Rizwanul Islam, along with the Sangyi Force, while on Special-11 duty in the Thana area, on 30 July 2026 at 05.50 hrs, recovered 940 pieces of Yaba tablets and a private car from the paved road on the Dhaka-facing lane, approximately 100 yards west of the new toll plaza of Meghna Gumti Bridge under Daudkandi Model Thana.
SI (Retd)/Minhajul Islam along with his officers and forces while on special operation duty in Gouripur area arrested the accused in the robbery case from Gouripur area on 30 July 2026 at 03.30 hrs. 1. Md. Zakir Hossain Rana (39), father- deceased Sadek Ali, mother- Jahanara Begum, Mang- Maijpara, Kazi Bari, 02. Md. Dulal Sharif (46), father- deceased Abdul Haque Sharif, mother- Begum Sufia Sharif, Sang- Maijpara, Sharif Manzil, 03. Md. Rubel Mia (38), father- Mehraj Alam, mother- Hosneyara Begum, Sang- Dighirpar Pradhan Bari, Sarbthana- Daudkandi, District- Comilla.
ASI (Retd)/ Selim Mia along with the accompanying force, while on special operation duty in the police station area, arrested the accused Md. Habib (38), father- Shah Ali, Sang- Bhagalpur, Shahid Nagar, Thana- Daudkandi, District- Comilla, from Shahid Nagar area on 29 July 2026 at 22.30 hrs.
ASI (Retd)/ Sujan Kanti Mia along with the accompanying force, while on duty in Goalmari-11, arrested the accused Mosa Parusha, husband- Md. Mozaffar, Sang- Maruka Dudh Mia, Masthar Bari, Thana- Daudkandi, District- Comilla, from Maruka area on 30 July 2026 at 02.30 hrs.
Legal action has been taken against the accused and they have been sent to the learned court.
