Police have recovered the hanging body of a youth named Moin Uddin (38) from Beltola area of ​​Laksam Municipality in Comilla. A case of unnatural death has been filed at Laksam Police Station in this incident. Police have started an investigation to find out the real cause of death.
The deceased Moin Uddin is a resident of Beltola area of ​​ward number 4 of the municipality. He is the son of Abul Hashem and Ranu Begum.
According to local sources, there had been unrest in his family life for a long time due to family and land disputes. Locals claim that various disputes had been going on for about six months regarding this.
On Wednesday (July 1) morning, family members found him hanging inside the house. When the matter came to light, people around rushed to the spot and informed the police.
On receiving the news, Laksam Police Station quickly reached the spot and recovered the body. Later, after completing the legal process, the body was sent to the morgue of Comilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
In this regard, Laksam Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Kamrunnahar Laili said that upon receiving the information, the police went to the spot and recovered the body. A case of accidental death has been registered in this incident. The real cause of death can be confirmed after receiving the autopsy report. He also said that the matter is being investigated seriously.
A shadow of mourning has fallen over the area following the incident. The police hope that the real cause of death will be revealed after the investigation.
