‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’ is going to be held in Dhaka for the first time to buy and sell products at attractive discounts. 250 local and foreign brands and organizations will participate in it._
South Asia’s largest discount fest ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’ is starting in the capital for the purpose of buying and selling quality products of local and foreign brands and business organizations. This is going to be the first time in the country to buy and sell products at ‘attractive’ discounts only. 250 popular local and foreign brands, entrepreneurs and business organizations will participate in it. On the occasion of ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’, buyers will be able to enjoy discounts of up to 75%. In addition, there will be exciting offers, flash sales and limited-time special discounts on some selected products and services.
This information was given at a press conference organized at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday (July 1). Ventora Communications Limited is the associate of this fair organized by Eventcom. Opus Communications Limited is the PR partner of the fair. The press conference was attended by Project Director of ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’ Dr. Md. Taslim Amin Shovon, Head of Operations Shafiqul Islam and Chief Facilitator, Women Empowerment Jinnat Ara Bari.
It was informed from the press conference that this three-day fair will be held from December 10 to 12 at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center located in Agargaon in the capital. All renowned and popular brands and organizations from various countries of Asia and Europe including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka will participate in the fair.
One of the goals of this event is to bring domestic and foreign brands on one platform. To create an opportunity for buyers to buy products of all famous brands under one roof at attractive prices. ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’ will also introduce local rising brands. In addition, it will create business relationships between corporate organizations and business partners. On the other hand, there is a special opportunity for brands and organizations interested in participating in the fair; they will get a flat 50% discount if they book an early bird stall by July 16.
In this regard, ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’ Project Director Dr. Md. Taslim Amin Shovon said, “Dhaka Discount Fest 2026 is a platform to create meaningful communication between domestic and foreign brands and buyers. Regarding the participation of women in the fair, Chief Facilitator of ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’, Women Empowerment Jinnat Ara Bari said, “Currently, thousands of women entrepreneurs in the country are producing high-quality products. But for many of them, reaching out to buyers on a large scale, building brand awareness, and finding new business partners is still a big challenge. ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’ will remove that limitation. At ‘Dhaka Discount Fest 2026’, women entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to present their brands in front of thousands of potential buyers, corporate organizations, distributors, business partners, and the media in addition to selling products.”
From now on, Dhaka Discount Fest will be held every year. After making the Dhaka event a success, the organizers said that they plan to organize this event every year in the country’s major divisional cities. In continuation of this, this colorful ‘Discount Fest’ will be held in Chittagong on March 11-13, Rajshahi on May 13-15, Sylhet on June 10-13 and Khulna on September 9-11 next year. At the same time, they have expressed their interest in organizing this fair outside the country in the future. However, when and in which country it will be held first will be officially announced later.
