The results of the Primary Scholarship Examination have been officially published. According to the results published on Sunday (July 12), 79,246 students have received scholarships. Of these, 32,965 students have received talent pool scholarships and 46,281 students have received general scholarships. According to the policy-2026, it was decided to provide a total of 82,500 scholarships in the Primary Scholarship Examination-2025 held nationwide. Of these, 33,000 are talent pool scholarships and 49,500 are general scholarships.

He said that in the case of talent pool scholarship, 80 percent quota is set for government primary schools and 20 percent for private schools. On the other hand, out of 49,500 general scholarships, 39,600 scholarships are allocated for government primary schools, five each based on union and ward. Out of these, two male and two female students and one scholarship are given on the basis of merit. In addition, 20 percent general scholarships are reserved for private schools based on upazila.The Education Minister further said that a total of 78,810 schools participated in this year’s Primary Scholarship Examination. Of these, 65,605 were government schools and 13,205 were private schools. The number of students registered for the examination was 645,041. Of these, 256,117 were male students and 388,924 were female students.He said that 4 lakh 19 thousand 982 students participated in the examination, which is 65.11 percent of the total registered examinees. Of these, 3 lakh 44 thousand 127 (62.01 percent) from government schools and 75 thousand 855 (84.16 percent) from private schools were present. Among the examinees present, 1 lakh 66 thousand 641 (39.68 percent) were male and 2 lakh 53 thousand 341 (60.32 percent) were female.He said that a total of 79,246 students received scholarships in the Primary Scholarship Examination-2025. Of these, 32,965 received Talent Pool scholarships. Of them, 26,375 were from government schools and 6,590 from private schools. In addition, 46,281 received general scholarships. Of them, 36,420 were from government schools and 9,861 from private schools.Of the total number of students receiving scholarships, 35,892 are male students (45.29 percent) and 43,354 are female students (54.71 percent).

The Education Minister said that the Primary Scholarship Examination-2025 is not just a process of testing the merit of students; it is also an important step in developing the future generation as competitive and responsible citizens.
