The capital Dhaka was inundated with torrential rain on the first working day of the week. Sudden waterlogging and severe public transport congestion in the morning today (Sunday, July 12) brought extreme suffering to office-going commuters, students and the general public. Traffic movement in various areas of the city was almost at a standstill as roads were submerged due to the rain.
