SK Kamrul Hasan, Satkhira Correspondent: A prayer ceremony was held instead of the election rally of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) nominated MP candidate for Satkhira-2 constituency (Satkhira Sadar-Debhata) Alhaj Abdur Rouf to wish for the health of Nationalist Party BNP Chairperson, former Prime Minister, Mother of Democracy and Patriot Begum Khaleda Zia. On Monday (December 01) afternoon, Parulia Raihan Chattar organized by Debhata Upazila BNP, Parulia Union BNP President Rafiqul Islam Sana presided over the prayer program. Alhaj Abdur Rouf, the Nationalist Party (BNP) nominated MP candidate for Satkhira-2 seat (Satkhira Sadar-Debhata) in the National Parliament elections, spoke as the chief guest. In his speech as the chief guest, he said, “Today I am very sad. I am spending the day with a very heavy heart. My leader, my mother, is very sick today. May Allah Almighty grant her recovery. Even during the difficult times of the nationalist party BNP, she did not leave the country because she loved this country and the people of the country. Now BNP is coming to a good day. O Allah, keep my uncompromising leader alive to see good days.”
