Rafiqul Islam Sweet, Pabna Correspondent: Pabna’s creative agriculturist Hasan Jafir Tuhin, the central president of the Nationalist Farmers’ Party, was given a reception for his appointment as the chairman of the Barendra Multi-faceted Development Authority (BMDA).
On Saturday (May 16), leaders and activists from various levels including BNP, Krishak Dal, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and others welcomed him at the Pabna district BNP office.
Pabna-5 constituency MP Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, Pabna-Sirajganj reserved women’s seat MP Advocate Arifa Sultana Ruma, Zilla Parishad Administrator War-wounded Hero Freedom Fighter Zahurul Islam Bishu, District BNP Joint Convener Anisul Haque Babu, Abu Obaida Sheikh Tuhin, Nur Mohammad Masum Baga and many others were present at the time.
It is worth mentioning that on May 5, Krishak Dal Central Committee President Hasan Jafir Tuhin was appointed as the new chairman of the Barendra Multipurpose Development Authority (BMDA). The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification appointing him to the post on a one-year contract with the rank of secretary. He then joined the BMDA office in Rajshahi on May 10.
