Mosahid Ahmed, Moulvibazar: The much-awaited final and prize distribution ceremony of the Knockout Night Kabaddi Tournament-2025-26 organized by the Barman Young Star Club, organized under the overall funding of prominent social worker Sheikh Nur Alam, was held on January 17 (Saturday) night at Mate adjacent to Shyamrarbazar in Ekatuna Union of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila. The much-awaited final and prize distribution ceremony of the tournament was held amidst cultural programs and grand arrangements. The event was funded by Sheikh Nur Alam, an expatriate from the United Kingdom. The event was presided over by the President of the Sports Management Committee, Abdul Karim Imani Mia, and moderated by Azizul Haque Selim. Former MP of Moulvibazar-3 constituency M. Naser Rahman was present as the chief guest. Former Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, Gazi Mozammel Haque, was present as the inaugurator of the event. Special guests were present – former general secretary of Moulvibazar district BNP Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Baksi Misbahur Rahman, former chairman of Ekatuna Union Parishad Alhaj Adud Alam, BNP convening committee member Fakhrul Islam and Upazila BNP president Mujibur Rahman Majnu. After the closing game, cash and prizes were distributed among the winners. After the game, a pleasant cultural program was held.
