On Thursday (April 18), organized by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock and implemented by the Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital, a day-long livestock show was celebrated in the grounds of the Upazila Parishad.

Livestock Officer Dr. K. M. Rakibul Hasan said that 42 stalls participated in the exhibition this time. These include – livestock drug and feed manufacturing companies, animal and poultry farms, dairy product manufacturing companies.
In the event, improved breeds and more productive breeds of cattle such as cows, calves, bulls, buffaloes, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, cute birds, pets and various technologies were displayed from different unions of the upazila.
Mayor of Laksam Municipality Professor Md Abul Khair, Upazila Vice Chairman Mohabbat Ali, Upazila Fisheries Officer Shaukat Ali, Secondary Education Officer Prasad Kumar Bhawal, Youth Development Officer Delwar Hossain were present as special guests in the opening ceremony.
After the discussion, the guests visited the stalls. There were about 42 stalls in the exhibition. In those stalls, various technical equipments related to animal resources and different domesticated animals and birds are displayed by the farmers in the stalls.
